We are hosting the first Northwoods Bonspiel in Tomahawk, Wisconsin, at the Tomahawk Ice Arena in Sara Park. This spiel is replacing the Hodag Bonspiel due to scheduling conflicts.
The Tomahawk community is excited to welcome all of us! We'll have great ice thanks to Kevin Madsen, delicious food, beer and wine, and, of course, a fun scavenger hunt that will introduce you to many of Tomahawk's wonderful local merchants. We hope you will join us at Sara Park and enjoy the hospitality of the Tomahawk Community.
The Bonspiel is October 16-18, is Open format, and consists of two divisions, “Experienced” and “Newbies”. Newbies are those with at least two team members with 5 years or less experience.
The entry deadline is September 15, 2026
The Bridge Inn, our hosting hotel, was recently remodeled; however, it has a limited number of rooms. If you plan to stay there, make your reservations ASAP. All rooms face Lake Mohawksin with balconies. There is also a fire pit for late-night bonfires and a fun bar next door.
For those newer curlers who want to try a bonspiel but may not have a full team, we will pair you up with 2 experienced curlers and enter you in the Newbie Division. This bonspiel will give you a true curling experience!
